In this project we had to talk about adolescent do's and don'ts. There is another way you could do it by giving reasons for depression and all mental illnesses, One other thing that people did was people did rates of depression or suicide in adolescents. I chose to make an infographic about how alcohol can affect the adolescent brain and body. The reason I did this was because I see adults drink and have fun with it, but I have also seen what it can do to most people when they are drunk and I wondered what it would do to a not fully grown body. It destroys younger body's and minds.

The Black Hole of Media
Media; Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and many more how do these socialize me to have a different fashion, or go on a diet, How do I change the way that I speak or act. Do these videos and pictures help me, am I hurting myself by scrolling endlessly into this black hole of social media. When I Stop does it change my identity to something I saw, do I act like the person I saw in a video. When I talk to my friends or family do I change the way I talk. Media has positively and negatively affected me to have different fashion and do activities that are really cool and fun.
The darkness is a bad part it hurts more than you think it is the bullying and cyberbullying. You can't stop the bullying and cyberbullying it is like swimming up rapids of hate and hurt. Social class, sexuality, age, gender, body shape, these all have an effect on what happens to your likes comments, if you are getting bullied for what you posted. Body shape is a huge one if you are even a little overweight people are going to judge you, talk to their friends making fun of you. If you dont look pretty enough or if you have to much, to little bit of makeup. Social class if you are rich or a higher class you have more things to take pictures of, your money, places, cars, or your house. But the weirdest thing about social media is that you can feel so insecure about yourself, but someone who sees that could be saying that they think they are fat and want to be like you. Insecurity is a huge thing that I have struggled with because I see someone who is skinny and I realize that I'm not like that and it hurts. Someone who sees this picture or photo is going to be thinking the same as you.
The lightness of social media is complements and being nice and supportive to each other and being kind. People love getting compliments like; you are so pretty, or you look so good, there are many more than I don’t need to say. People strive themselves so that they can get their complements and feel better about themselves. When you get a compliment it feels good it makes you happy to see that someone else likes what you look like our thinks your pretty. I for one love it when someone says oh so cool or that was so good on my photo, because people like to be accepted into the world for who we are.
From the lightness to the darkness people all over the world go through these every day whether it is to having bad comments or to having good comments, your own body positivity or body negativity. Ever wants to be a part of the social networks of the world, why wouldn't you. Media has influenced my life in a positive and negative way, but it is the way that you take that into perspective you can use the things you learn on a social media app you can take into your real life. Media has done a lot to help me positively and negatively on my life. I love social media It helps me to do better things and be amazing.

Pol Reflection
Before I even went in the room I was insanely terrified my hands were shaking and trembling. But I was practicing to one of my friends over and over and over. I did it so many times I could do it with no cards at all. And that was something that worked wonderfully for me my presentations are really good I can pronunciate and i talk with confidence my body language was also just the right amount. Another thing that went well for me during this P.O.L was my evidence I had all my evidence I explained it all and had detailed explanations for the questions. Something that I could work on for next time I present I will look at my audience more so I don't look like i'm talking to the floor or the desk in front of me. Overall I think that did really well during my first P.O.L and I am ready to do my next years.
